West Tisbury Accessory Apartment Program 
The Town of West Tisbury provides opportunity for the development of Accessory Apartments through special permits issued by its Zoning Board of Appeals. Affordable rental to eligible applicants earning up to 80% of the area median income is one option allowed owners of Accessory Apartments.

The West Tisbury Affordable Housing Committee provides annual monitoring of the permitted apartments including assistance by the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority with income certification and lease review for those apartments rented affordably. The Housing Authority also provides an annual chart of maximum income and rent figures for use by owner/landlords and applicant/tenants.
